As a teen myself, I can confidently say…we like money! Let’s be honest, having money basically equates to having independence, especially before having a car. BUT, Sometimes researching stores looking for a job can be INTIMIDATING. So in today’s post, I will be listing some common teen jobs and what skills they need to determine for yourself if they are a good fit! Let’s go!
Job #1: Babysitting 👨👩👧👦👨👩👧👦👨👩👧👦👨👩👧👦 (good if you like kids)
Watching over kids (usually in elementary or middle school) is THE teen job. You can make good money, depending on how long you are watching the kids and how much you know in terms of CPR and kid-friendly activities.

Many websites (like the one linked in my source) can keep it very simple with just listing jobs and pay, and can be used as inspiration. No need to make it overly complicated, YAY! Many of these jobs also require networking, so don’t be shy to ask your friends/neighbors/classmates if they know anyone looking for a dog walker or babysitter. ALSO Indeed/Linkedlin for the win!
